Shipping and Policies

GUARANTEE: We appreciate your support and want you to be happy with your purchase. We guarantee your dahlia tubers will be true to the variety and will arrive in the mail with at least one visible eye. Please inspect your tubers upon arrival and contact us by responding to your confirmation email or at camelotflowerplot@gmail.com within 1 week of your order arriving if you have any concerns. If for some reason you are not satisfied, we will work with you to make it right. Please understand we cannot be responsible for damage due to pests, bad weather, poor growing conditions, negligence, or plant performance. All dahlias sold by us were grown on our farm and will be shipped as either single tubers or small clumps. Although we cannot guarantee the dahlia to be free of disease and/or virus, we meticulously inspect our fields and remove any plants that show signs of disease and/or virus. We also follow strict tool cleaning procedures to avoid any possibility of cross contamination.

DAHLIA TUBER SHIPPING: We ship within the continental United States only. Tubers will ship between mid-April and mid-May, once the risk of freezing temperatures has passed in both our region and yours.

Shipping rates remain high again this season, but in an effort to keep costs as low as possible for our customers, we’ve made the decision to keep our shipping rates the same. Current shipping costs are outlined below.

Shipping Rates:
• 1–7 tubers: $11.00
• 8–19 tubers: $17.00
• 20+ tubers: $24.00

We are happy to combine shipping for multiple orders. To request combined shipping, please email us with your order numbers by either responding to your confirmation email or directly emailing us at camelotflowerplot@gmail.com. Once orders are generated and combined, we will refund the difference in shipping costs.
Please note: we CANNOT combine orders unless we receive an email request, as the volume of orders makes it impossible to match them manually.

A local pickup option will also be available. Pickup dates and times will be communicated directly.

CART: Adding an item to your cart DOES NOT reserve it. Your order is only confirmed once you complete checkout and receive an order confirmation number and email.

If you’re shopping for multiple varieties, please note that some may sell out before you’re able to check out — things move fast. We’ve been in the dahlia scramble for years (especially the last few weeks), so trust us… we feel that pain. Because we offer combined shipping (with a follow-up email), you’re welcome to check out multiple times. We’ll refund the extra shipping costs once orders are combined. It’s a bit of extra work on our end, but we’re happy to go the extra mile to help you snag as many wish-list dahlias as possible.

Please remember we’re just two farmers running a small flower farm, and while we wish we had thousands of every variety, we don’t quite have that kind of magic yet. We do dream big though, and every year we continue expanding our growing space and variety list — hoping that one day we can keep up with the demand.

Substitutions: We will never substitute without your permission. If something unexpected occurs with storage and we are unable to ship some or all of your order, we will reach out to you and offer a substitution or a refund for the tuber(s) that we are unable to ship.

Order Changes: We do not allow order changes or cancelations once your order is placed. If you’re looking for more quantities/varieties, place another order, email us with your order number(s) and we will combine shipping as long as we have not packaged and shipped your original order.

When my order arrives: When you receive your package, please open and inspect immediately. If you are not ready to plant your tubers, store them in a frost/freeze proof location with the bag open so they can breathe. Again, please inspect your tubers upon arrival and contact us within 1wk if you have any concerns. Tubers come in many shapes and sizes and varies greatly. A tuber the size of a AA battery will grow just as well as a tuber the size of a giant Idaho potato. You will receive a basic Dahlia Growing/Care Guide with your order to assist you in growing and caring for your dahlias.
